CAB is a volunteer, parent-led organization that works to assist athletic programs at all levels at Vernon Hills High School.  Through community and school fundraising efforts, we are able to provide additional funds towards things such as (though not limited to) pre-season training camps, spring break tournaments, team-building events, special training and instruction, and equipment that is not always available able through regular funding and budgets.

CAB's goal is to engage the community, make Vernon Hills Athletics a destination and to cultivate and support our Blue & Silver school spirit!  GO COUGARS!!!

The Cougar Council meets quarterly to ensure communication, support, and continuity among all the Parent Organizations. The Cougar Council of VHHS Inc. is an Illinois not-for-profit organization that is comprised of the Presidents, Vice Presidents and Treasurers of Connection, CAST and CAB along with the Principal and Directors of Fine Arts and Athletics.

CPC helps promote a sense of pride through communication and support of student activities and programs. CPC also provides opportunities for giving back to the community. Help make the most of your child's high school years by getting involved. No matter what your talents are, we have an opportunity for you.

Our mission is to support the Vernon Hills High School fine arts students and faculty in providing a creative, safe and nurturing environment to promote student growth, self-confidence and fine arts opportunities. This support manifests by providing parent volunteers for fine arts events, promoting fine arts events to the community, sponsoring professional artists to provide workshops for students, providing meals for students on fine arts trips or during long evenings of rehearsal.
